happy summer everyone! we start it with a cool 69 just after a wonderful couple of inches of rain!
summer. the season to go out on a limb and try something new. go out and give ya fruit to the world.
eat some watermelon, summer squash and a pepper or two…lay off the winter potatos…
adventures galore, excitement, abounding energy for more and more amor…but take time to relax.
afternoon siestas in the heat of the day, dips in cold bodies of water, pleasant chats with friends,
rocking chairs and hammocks swaying to and fro in summertime breezes with a delicious drink in hand.
be greatful.though warmth and light brings heat and brightness stay cool calm and collected.
harness the seasonal energies to charge your life with excitement while taking the time to absorb it.

seasonal yoga incorporates a practice that is ever-evolving and ever-referencing the seasonal shifts.
light, color, and air are major indicators for how we should be living and eating on a day to-day.
winter yoga asks us to grow our roots, be tranquil, rest, nurture, read, hibernate, work on the hearth-n-home.
now spring weather is on hand…and we get to play! get the sap going, joints moving, winter snow melting!
this little sequence is part of a ten year goal…of which i have not attained…yet continue to aim for…

with the arrival of spring
we begin to see a bit more light
a bit more a heat
a bit more of quite a bit
we also hear the sounds of spring so clearly
birds calling and singing
bees wings buzzing
dancing in and out of spring blossom’s delight
but with us, it sounds a bit more

for spring is connected to liver
